DESCRIPTION:One-Day Tool Tune-Up \nThis course is designed to show you how to sharpen and fine-tune your own woodwork tools. \nIt is relevant for brand-new and used tools. \nMost tools when purchased new are not fit for use and need the grinding angle to be corrected and other adjustments to be made. \nWe will focus on flat and carving woodworking chisels\, also a range of hand planes and the spokeshave. You are welcome to bring along your own Work-working Tools on the day to sharpen and tune. \nThe course will facilitate you using a number of different sharpening methods\, which will include the electric waterstone\, the oilstone\, the diamond stone and the leather strop. If your answer is yes\, then maybe this is the right opportunity for you to get the most important piece of equipment in place. \nThis is a two-day course in which you will construct your own workbench from 90mm x 90mm timber with 225mm x 60mm planks in the top. Some experience is necessary for this course. \nBench Size Information: \nSome variables in size will be available\, the standard bench length for the course is 5ft 6in long.You can choose a shorter length if required to suit your work space. If you require a bench longer than 5ft 6in\, that will incur an additional material cost. Please provide bench length required for a quote for additional cost. Maximum bench length available is 7ft long. \nVice Information: \nThe cost of the vice is not included\, however you can purchase your own vice and fit it to the bench on the course. \nIf you need some advice on what vice to purchase please ask\, and we will guide you. DESCRIPTION:One-Day Tool Tune-Up \nThis course is designed to show you how to sharpen and fine-tune your own woodwork tools. \nIt is relevant for brand-new and used tools. \nMany tools when purchased new may need the grinding angle to be corrected and other adjustments to be made.  Learning how to do this will ensure your tools will remain in top condition for years of use\, and will allow you to bring older tools back to life. \nWe will focus on flat and carving woodworking chisels\, also a range of hand planes and the spokeshave. You are welcome to bring along your own Work-working Tools on the day to sharpen and tune. \nThe course will facilitate you using a number of different sharpening methods\, which will include the electric waterstone\, the oilstone\, the diamond stone and the leather strop.
