DESCRIPTION:Two-Day Adirondack Chair Course.    \nThis is a 2-day course (9.00 am to 5.00 pm each day). During the two days\, you make the beautiful Adirondack chair. Using Scandinavian pine you will be building a chair that will last for many years and will be a favourite for all family members. With step-by-step instructions from a master craftsman\, you will be learning how to use a variety of tools including a handsaw\, hand plane\, jigsaw\, spokeshave\, bevel\, battery screw gun\, wood chisel\, measuring tape\, and square. \nYou’ll be working in a fully equipped workshop\, meeting some new people\, as you work through the class together. You will be surprised at how much you will enjoy the process and taking home your chair will give you a great sense of achievement. \nThe class size is restricted to eight people\, so each person will have plenty of room to work. The workshop is spacious and each person will work on their own bench. \nAs it’s a two-day course\, you have the perfect chance to see some of Hook Peninsula and its spectacular beaches\, historic sites\, and visitor attractions. Take a day or two extra to enjoy the area. \nCourse Cost €280.00 \nThe booking Deposit is 50%\, balance payable when you attend.

DESCRIPTION:Create the Impossible Triangle  \nThis is a one day course in which you will create the Impossible Triange also known as the Penrose Triangle\, a famous optical illusion of a 3D object. \nIt appears as a solid structure with three right-angled corners\, but it is actually a two-dimensional drawing that exploits human perception. \nYou will be creating this in marquetry\, with a scalpel and a variety of Veneers\, including Ash\, Oak \,Walnut\, Sapele and Beech. \nYou can choose your own colour scheme to create your own unique design with the different veneers. \n  \nCourse Cost €120.00 \nThe booking Deposit is 50%\, balance payable when you attend.
