All day to Carve a Spoon.

Treat yourself to this unique day out.

Carving a wooden spoon,  really ?  This might seem like a pointless exercise to some, but it has turned out to be one of our most popular days in the workshop.

Demonstrated step by step sample spoons are there to guide you through each stage. the timber you will use is sycamore ,cherry or walnut, and the hand tools you will be using are carving chisels, spokeshave, coping saw and panel saw. You will take home a spoon you have crafted yourself.

If you have already carved a spoon with us, you now have an opportunity to carve a more complex spoon, as the day is designed to suit different skill levels.
